AISRP 2019

The AI Safety Research Program is a four-month-long project bringing together talented students and junior researchers with a deep interest in long-term AI safety research. We aim to create a creative and inspiring research environment helping the participants work on AI safety research problems, gain a better understanding of the AI alignment field, and improve their research skills.

The program consists of an online preparation phase focused on collecting and discussing research proposals; a 5-day workshop for brainstorming, refining the project ideas and discussing them with guest researchers from FHI Oxford and MIRI; a structured 2-month online work phase with mentoring; concluded by an 8-day intensive co-working retreat in Prague and more remote work on finalizing papers, reports etc. The program runs from Oct 2019 to Feb 2020.

The 2019 program is already underway. If you are interested, check out the AI Safety Camp Toronto or subscribe to our mailing list.
